My name is Shelly Weathers and though I have worked at diverse jobs, I am an artist and writer. In the summer of 2013 I graduated from Goddard College with an MFA in Creative Writing. Since then my fiction has appeared or will appear in Redivider, REED Magazine, theNewerYork, Concho River Review, Elohi Gadugi, and Clockhouse, and has received the 2013 Beacon Street Prize for Fiction and the 2014 John Steinbeck Fiction Award. I am also the Fiction editor at rawboned, an online journal devoted to the short form. This blog is a way of bringing different aspects of my work together in one virtual space where I can also chatter on about all the stuff I love.
